Welcome to STUDIO CL! By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these carefully before engaging with our services.

1. General Terms

  • By booking a session or purchasing services from STUDIO CL, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

  • We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time, and any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

 

2. Booking and Payment

  • A deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance must be paid on or before the day of the photo session.

  • Payments can be made via our online booking system or bank transfer.

  • All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

  • If you need to reschedule, we require at least 3 day notice. Rescheduling without sufficient notice may result in a fee. *Some sessions, such as location shoots, require a longer notice period, which will be specified when you enter into the contract.

 

3. Cancellation Policy

  • Clients may cancel their booking with 2 weeks' notice for a full refund of the deposit. Cancellations made within 2 weeks will result in a forfeiture of the deposit. *Some sessions, such as location shoots, require a longer notice period, which will be specified when you enter into the contract.

  • STUDIO CL reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, the client will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

 

4. Copyright and Usage Rights

  • All images taken during the session are the intellectual property of STUDIO CL. We retain full copyright and ownership of the images, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Clients are granted a limited, non-commercial license to use and share the images for personal purposes (e.g., social media, prints).

  • Commercial use, including selling, modifying, or reproducing the images without written permission from STUDIO CL, is strictly prohibited.

  • When making a booking, clients can use the coupon code "usemyimage" to grant STUDIO CL permission to use their images for promotional and marketing purposes. By using this code, clients will receive a 10% discount on their session price.

  • When clients agree to share their images on various platforms, clients receive a 10% discount on your session. However, if clients later decide to keep your images private and request their removal from public platforms, additional time and effort are required. In the event that significant time is needed to revise or remove your images from websites or multiple platforms, a revision fee may apply to cover the cost of these revisions. Clients will also be required to reimburse the discounted amount received (10%) as part of this process. We’ll always discuss the details with you and provide clarity on any costs before proceeding.

  • If clients prefer to keep their images private, they may book at the standard session price without applying the coupon code. STUDIO CL will respect the client’s preference and refrain from using their images in any promotional materials.

 

5. Image Delivery

  • Final edited images will be delivered within 2-4 weeks after the session. Delivery times may vary depending on the nature of the shoot and our workload.

  • We will provide the images in digital format through email or USB drive. Physical prints may be ordered separately.

6. Liability

  • STUDIO CL takes the utmost care in the creation and delivery of high-quality images. However, in the unlikely event of a technical failure or unforeseen issues, our liability is limited to the refund of the session fee.

  • We are not responsible for any injuries, loss, or damages that may occur during or after the photo session.

 

7. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients are responsible for arriving on time for the scheduled session. Late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time or additional fees.

  • If the shoot involves specific locations, themes, or outfits, it is the client's responsibility to arrange these unless otherwise agreed upon beforehand.

 

8. Confidentiality

  • We respect your privacy and will not share your personal information or session details with third parties, except as required to deliver our services (e.g., printing labs) or when legally obligated.

 

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Zealand.
