Welcome to STUDIO CL. By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

1. General Terms

 

• By booking a session or purchasing services from STUDIO CL, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

• We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms take effect when published on our website.

 

2. Booking and Payment

 

• A deposit may be required to secure your booking. Any remaining balance must be paid on or before the session date.

• Payments can be made through our online booking system or by bank transfer.

• Refund and rescheduling conditions follow the booking policy displayed for your selected service and any separate service agreement.

 

3. Cancellations and Rescheduling

 

• Studio sessions: cancellations made at least 24 hours before the appointment receive a full refund. Rescheduling is available up to 12 hours before the appointment.

• Location sessions: cancellations made at least 14 days before the appointment receive a full refund. Rescheduling is available up to 7 days before the appointment.

• Late cancellations and late rescheduling requests are non-refundable, except where required by New Zealand law.

• Commercial productions and other custom projects may have separate cancellation terms stated in the written quotation or service agreement.

• If STUDIO CL must cancel or reschedule due to unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

 

4. Copyright and Usage Rights

 

• All images taken during the session are the intellectual property of STUDIO CL unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Clients receive a limited, non-commercial licence to use and share delivered images for personal purposes, including social media and prints.

• Commercial use, resale, modification or reproduction requires written permission from STUDIO CL.

• Applying the coupon code “usemyimage” gives STUDIO CL permission to use session images for promotional and marketing purposes and provides a 10% session discount.

• If you later request removal of previously authorised images, we will discuss any significant revision work and related costs with you before proceeding. The original 10% discount may also need to be repaid.

• If you prefer to keep your images private, book at the standard price without applying the coupon code. STUDIO CL will not use those images for promotional purposes.

 

5. Image Delivery

 

• Final edited images are generally delivered within 2–4 weeks. Timing may vary depending on the project and workload.

• Images are delivered digitally. Physical prints may be ordered separately.

 

6. Liability

 

• STUDIO CL takes reasonable care in creating and delivering high-quality images. If a technical failure or unforeseen issue prevents delivery, our contractual liability is limited to the session fee, subject to rights that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.

• Clients are responsible for following reasonable safety directions during a session.

 

7. Client Responsibilities

 

• Please arrive on time. Late arrival may reduce available shooting time or incur additional fees.

• Unless agreed beforehand, clients are responsible for arranging any specific locations, themes, outfits or academic regalia required for the session.

 

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

 

• We respect your privacy and do not share personal information or session details with third parties except where needed to provide the service, where you have given permission, or where required by law.

 

9. New Zealand Consumer Law

 

• Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies available under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or other applicable New Zealand law.

• These Terms are governed by New Zealand law, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts and tribunals.
